Directions to our Studio — Just 4 miles from Friday Harbor on Roche Harbor Road. Turn right on Elena Drive and proceed up the hill until you arrive at 163 Elena Drive.

Local Artist Booth

Roche Harbor Resort — We also have our Nixon Art Glass artist kiosk at Roche Harbor Resort from June 23 – September 2, 2024. It is open every day, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

ABOUT NIXON ART GLASS

Darleen Nixon has been a glass artist for 20 years in both mediums of lampwork and kiln formed glass. She has studied with some of the world’s leading glass artists and is a member of the Glass Art Society. Her work is featured in galleries throughout the United States.

NIGHTLIGHTS

Each nightlight is an original work of art. The design is created using a base of hand-cut glass. Glass powders and shards of glass are applied to complete the final design. The glass powders and shards are fused together and annealed in a kiln for strength and durability. The fused piece is then slumped in the kiln to achieve the curved form that will surround the bulb.
