Winter - This art glass landscape of winter features sparkling snow captured with opaque white and crystal clear shards of glass. The imagery of indigo blue foliage is given texture with transparent cobalt blue, deep royal purple and a tint of aqua blue. These landscape images are developed with several layers of glass. The depth of the landscape is created with multiple applications of glass powders and frit (shards of glass) through several kiln firings. The result is breathtaking landscapes of glass with rich, colorful detail and texture. Exact patterning and colors may vary with each unique piece.
Each landscape is signed by the artist and presented in a sturdy metal display stand.
